Dang, are you dissatisfied with the Biden administration already? He’s done more in his first three days than any president I can recall. He’s far exceeded expectations. The Republicans haven’t yet agreed to the rules by which committees will operate. Biden’s Congress isn’t even up and operating yet. His cabinet isn’t in place.

Trump’s administration did everything they could to delay and slow walk all the transition activities that normally take place in November and December. And Trump spent a year doing a absolutely nothing on Covid, but somehow, after 3 days and multiple executive orders, Biden isn’t doing enough quickly enough? I mean, he’s already done more in 3 days than Trump did all of last year.

We’ve seen more responsiveness and sense of urgency from the President in these first few days than I can remember ever seeing in any administration. And this despite limited cooperation from Republicans on transition and now on the rules of the Senate.

Biden’s executive orders and proposals are clearly going to deliver help to people struggling financially due to the pandemic. I am just completely confused by the suggestion that the Democrats aren’t doing enough yet, or don’t usually do enough, for Americans living in or near poverty. It just doesn’t match what I am seeing now or have ever seen.
