Rush Limbaugh is dead! Who’s next?
The sky is blue, the birds are singing, it’s warm outside and the beach is calling my name. What a fantastic day! Rush Limbaugh is dead!
It might not seem like the nicest thing to be happy about someone dying, but Rush Limbaugh truly deserves an exception. He was a conservative troll beyond compare in his heyday. Some people are genuinely evil. Limbaugh was one of them.
His contributions to economic ignorance, civic ignorance, anti-social thinking, racism, sexism, and homophobia cannot be understated.
Millions listened daily, for hours.
He blazed a trail of fear-mongering, distortion and misrepresentation before Trump had even had his first bankruptcy, his first conviction for discriminatory redlining, or his first alleged rape.
Rush Limbaugh and his followers were the original MAGAts.
I celebrated his death yesterday by anonymously delivering coffee to the guys I work with who watch Fox News (their audience and Limbaugh’s are one in the same). They don’t know who sent them coffee or why, but they don’t need to know. It’s my treat.
I’m giddy thinking about who might be next!
